It is difficult to discuss whether or not an email is bad or spam or phishing via email. A common occurrence is for a client to forward an email to me and ask if it is "bad"...only to have their email to me bounced back. As far as I can tell…it’s a bizarre timing issue. You received the original email when it was first sent to probably thousands if not millions of people. After you received it Microsoft and all the other big email providers in the world figured out that it was “bad’ and subsequently started blocking it. But you had already received it so they didn’t retroactively remove it from your INBOX.
But then when you try to forward it to me to get my opinion, your forwarded email gets blocked because it contains the original email what has been deemed “bad”.
What I have learned to do regarding potential “bad” emails, is that when I want to discuss them and refer to them in email, I include a screenshot of the email instead of forwarding them.
Is there anything that I can help with? Other questions?
For example, here is the screenshot of the email that I’m responding to
